image for West Ham Trounce Chelsea
Chelsea players trying to comfort each other after West Ham shock result

Chelsea fans were angry at West Hamm gaining all the publicity for their play off win at Wembley resulting in the Hammers returning to the Premiership just when Chelsea had won the European Championship.

Hammers fans explained that although they were sorry for Chelsea being overshadowed by West Ham's achievement it was clearly more important for West Ham to retrn to The Premiership, than Chelsea's penalty total.

West Ham Manager, Sam Allardyce, conceded that Chelsea's feat of scoring more penalties than Bayern Munich showed 'some ability' but 'it was nothing like West Ham's towering defeat of Blackpool'. A generous Sam advised Chelsea to get Ian Holloway as their next manager - 'he gave us a shock with his Blackpool team' admitted Alardyce 'Chelsea could do with someone at the helm who could prepare them for next season.'

With West Ham back in the Premiership and ready for the Gold Medal of the Olympic Stadium, after the warm up this year by some athletes, Manchester has been trying not to panic. 'Forget City and United rivalry' said a distraught Sarah Ferguson, Manchester United Manager 'we will have West Ham on our necks next season.'
