image for Grand National Betting Prospects
Odds Straight from the Horses Mouth

Bookmakers are being inundated with punters who are betting on next year's Grand National.

Odds on two dead horses at the next National have escalated to 2 to 1 on. One worried Bookie declared: 'This is becoming a dead certainty. Two dead is the favorite. We are praying for three horses to get the bullet.'

Ebenezer Stooge, the famous student of Form, is scaring Bookies with his advice to put big money on two dead horses next year at the National. Stooge is urging people to place their bets early to avoid disappointment.

A fancied Double next year is Two Dead Grand National Horses and a Broken Oar in the Boat Race. A Treble includes a stopped Boat race due to a swimmer in the water.

TV critic, Marilyn Odd, speaking at her favorite pub 'The Nag's Head' is looking forward to next year's sporting excitement. 'A couple of deaths always gets people watching' she said 'and a broken oar in the Boat Race helps to break the tedium. If there's another swimmer - Wow, it will be a TV spectacle to keep everyone glued to the Box.'
