London - Forensic accountants are poised to publish the results of a 20 year probe into David Cameron's sudden rise to megabux wealth.
Citing 'inspired' creative probate techniques from her 1990 Last Will & Testament they reckon a big chunk of Hollywood legend Greta Garbo's $32,042,429 estate has ended up featherbedding the British PM's own nest.
Garbo fans always rubbished claims that she had two children in the late 1930s by British Fascist Party leader Oswald Mosley.
But one of them was easily outed in 1987 as former funny man and heroic drinker Peter Cook - whose daft sister became the inspiration for the 1965 Pete N Dud 'nude' Greta Garbo sketch.
"It's from Cook's doolally sister that Cameron's descended," Prize Slaughterhouse Cougar accountants commented today.
"We followed the paper trail from Garbo niece Grey Reisfield's inheritance and discovered she was instrumental in distributing hush-hush bungs to her aunt's descendants and other varmints."
Just how much Rebekah Brooks received isn't clear because of a complex offshore accounts and other tax dodges.
But the main beneficiary remains David Cameron who has successfully dodged damning DNA questions about his own miraculous nativity.
"On his other side he's a direct descendant of Lillie Langtry," the accounting source added this afternoon.
"No wonder his talent for acting and behaving like a diva got him the top job at Conservative Party HQ."
