Barcelona have over the past few seasons been unsuccessful in re-signing their boyhood wonder, Francesc Fabregas, who was snapped up by Arsenal FC as a youngster. In order to realise their dream they have taken extraordinary steps.

It has been reported that an offer for Fabregas in the range of £50M will be accepted by Arsenal, yet Barcelona only have around £30M available for their close of season transfers. In a last gasp attempt to land their dream signing, plus other squad improvements and put an end to the saga, Barcelona have reportedly invested heavilly in the Euromillions rollover draw.

Likewise, Arsenal also have their own financial difficulties due to Shareholder demands. With the minimum signing requirements of a world class Goalkeeper, two world class Central Defenders, and a world class striker, who doesn't have a glass foot, to replace Thierry Henry. The Gunners are also struggling for funds and have opted for lottery ticket wins rather than bank funding to realise their transfer targets and player retention.

With another Euromillions jackpot rollover reported tonight, there is likely to be no further transfer speculation regarding these two clubs until after Tuesday nights draw.
