image for Wenger lines up new back four defence to challenge for title
wiggles picture

With the close of the premiership season "drawing" to an end with a miserable 2-2 draw to Fulham.

Arsene Wenger has admitted that he needs changes during the summer to be able to put a credible title challenge together next season.

The French professor said after the Fulham game He added: "We are frustrated, disappointed, but as well we have not to go overboard and think that our team is not good.

"We have to rectify some things in our squad and we will try to do it but it's not easy, even with money.

"Even if people say you have to spend money, we have to be realistic. We can't buy players for £50m. That is a fact. The amount of money is not always linked with the quality of player.

"First you have to find the right players and then turn up with the money - but if we find the right players we will spend the money."

Wenger has always been very guarded about summer signing during the transfer window, a source close to the coaching team said "a deal is very close to bring a known and proven back four to Arsenal Football club to bring solidarity and good formation!"

"This back four has been in the same team for over a decade and know each others moves so well they are in perfect sync and rhythm!"

When asked to name the players the source accidently slipped out "THE WIGGLES!"

Murray Cook from the The Wiggles was recently asked whether the rumour was true about joining Arsenal defence, Murray answered "I cant tell you much but lets just say I like wearing the colour red and as a team we've been jumping around like a clowns cock for years, so I reckon we'll do a better job than the current back four!!"

Wenger was challenged about the the Wiggles joing Arsenal, Wenger replied "I cannot say Yes or No, but I respect their intelligent and analytical approach to their game, they could be a real asset to the clubs history and tradition!"

We will have to wait and see....
