Arsenal supporters really got the hump with their team, their manager, and the directors at the Emirates as the Gunners crashed 1-2 to Aston Villa in their final home game of the season.
Two Bent goals decided the issue, apparently.
Disgruntled Arsenal fans, frustrated by the club's policy of not spending big money on new signings in order to finance the wavy topped Emirates stadium, expressed their disgust at a six percent hike in season ticket prices when their team went two down to the Villa.
"Six percent - you're 'avin' a larf!" they chanted.
At least the ones who hadn't already given the match up as a bad job and gone home for their teas did.
Cesc Fabregas didn't appear too concerned by events, but then as he's off to Barcelona, or Manchester City soon, why would he?
By contrast, exuberant Villa fans, cheeky Brummie monkeys that they are, showed up for the game in fancy dress - some dressed up as Klingons, some as cowboys, and perhaps inexplicably, some dressed as sombrero sporting Mexicans riding inflatable donkeys.
In other news, West Ham have been relegated. Scott Parker has been checking out bicycles on eBay, and Avram Grant is expected to call in at his local job centre at some point this week. Again.
More as we get it.
