Sources close to Chelsea skipper John Terry say that he still insists that Chelsea can go on to lift the Premiership trophy from under the noses of Manchester United if the Blues win their final game of the season.
Despite it being a mathematical impossibility.
Speaking outside Stamford Bridge after Chelsea's disappointing 2-2 draw with Newcastle United in the season's penultimate game, the source told Skoob Sports News:
"John is convinced that Chelsea can still win it. He says that the lads have a great team spirit, and that they'll take things one game at a time because it's never over until it's over, and the fat lady starts singing that operatic aria. All the lads are with him on this, they're still up for giving it a go. Ashley Cole has made a solemn vow not to text pics of his wedding tackle to hairdressers until the lads win the league, and Lamps has vowed to stop praying to passing Jumbo jets every time he scores a goal. John reckons it's all about belief and focus."
Fernando Torres is still a £50 million flop, and Roman Abramovich is still a miserable git. Carlo Ancelotti has gone to Rome for a short City Break (No talks involved, apparently.), and Didier Drogba intends to have a haircut sometime this week.
More as we get it.
