image for Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard determined to reclaim Premiership in 2012
Stars of the future

Steven Gerrard won't be knocked down. He told reporters that Liverpool is definitely on the way back up.

Obviously if Manchester United do win the cup this season it will mean a 19th title for them over Liverpool's 18.

Gerrard was holding back tears when interviewed.

The Liverpool Skipper praised Dalglish's return as manager of the club but couldn't quite keep the whining tone out of his voice when he spoke about his own season being hampered by injuries.

It was as if Gerrard was thinking,

"If only I'd been there for EVERY game, we surely would have won. If only, if only.

I hope if Man. U. does win they DO realize we are only loaning them the cup for 12 months."
