It looks like it's "squeaky bum" time for Manchester City fans as the days leading up to the FA Cup Final rumble slowly by.
The casual observer could be forgiven for thinking that City have already won the cup following their shock semi-final victory over "quiet neighbours" United.
But Tony Pulis's Stoke City - with their ruthlessly direct approach to the game - may yet have something to say about the final destination of the FA Cup, after they effectively ended Arsenal's title challenge with a convincing 3-1 victory over the Londoners at the Britannia Stadium.
Prompting one Stoke City fan to remark: "Fancy football...my arse!"
Goals from Kenwyne Jones' chest, Jermaine Pennant and Jon Walters proving crucial in a decisive 3-1 victory. Arsenal netted a consolation goal as Van Persie scored on 80 minutes, only to see Walters' immediate response make it the final 3-1 scoreline a minute later.
Leaving City fans to sweat it out.
City, who haven't won a major trophy since 1974 have long been haunted by that 'ticking clock' banner on the Stretford End at Old Trafford.
Currently, it reads '35 Years' and Stoke City fans are praying that next season it will read '36 Years'
As the Manchester City fans plead with DJ's in the Greater Manchester area not to play the hit sixties Tom Jones song, 'Delilah.'
Squeaky bum time beckons - good isn't it?
More as we get it.
