In today's eagerly anticipated Emirates clash between Arsenal and title chasing Manchester United, it was the young gunners who prevailed on the day.
A 55th minute goal from Aaron Ramsey settled the issue. It came after a neat build up down the right, with Robin Van Persie cutting a sweet ball back to the Welshman in the box. Ramsey calmly side-footed home past a flailing Ed Van Der Sar.
Although the game failed to live up to the controversial highs of the Chelsea v Tottenham clash yesterday - where two goals that should never have been were allowed to stand, it was not a controversy free collision.
Arsenal could argue that they deserved a first half penalty when Vidic clearly handled a deep cross under pressure. But it wasn't given.
United could claim that Michael Owen was stud-raked as the final whistle approached, and that they should have had a penalty.
But that too was not given.
All credit to the Gunners though; they may have started a little hesitantly, but before long, Walcott, Ramsey and Arshavin were terrorising the United defence with fast moving breaks.
So, it looks like the title race will go to the wire again, although United remain favourites. The Old Trafford contingent weren't best pleased with the result and Sir Alex was reportedly plugging the hairdryer in.
For some obscure reason, Arsene Wenger chose to wear a pair of white cotton gloves and a massive pair of clown shoes throughout the game.
Rumours that Wayne Rooney texted Katie Waissel's nan have yet to be confirmed.
In other news, Avram Grant was spotted at Manchester City looking "a bit grumpy" as Nigel De Jong fired City into the lead against Grant's West Ham after ten minutes.
