Aberdeen manager Craig Brown and Motherwell owner John Boyle are to face a Scottish Football Association hearing after their touchline altercation at the end of last week's SPL fixture.
The SFA's Disciplinary Committee confirmed that the two men's case would be heard in the near future as the association was "determined to clamp down on incidents such as this and the highly publicised spat involving Rangers' Ally McCoist and Celtic's Neil Lennon".
Ex Scotland boss Brown is confident that two will escape any form of punishment once they are given the chance to explain.
"Its really quite simple", said the 70 year old Aberdeen manager, "John and I have been hired by Compare The Market.com to publicise their website.
"We were filming the follow up to the advert where the 2 old meerkats fall out in the residential home.
"We were just trying to make it look realistic.
"I'd like to think we succeeded."
