Troubled Man City star Mario Balotelli has been involved in another incident with the club.
Its emerged that, only days after being sent off in the Champions League tie against Dynamo Kiev, the striker is alleged to have thrown a dart at a youth player on the training ground.
But Balotelli's agent claims the whole affair was the result of a "misunderstanding".
Cesare Davidelli explains :
"My client was going through his training routine at Eastlands, practising how to walk off the park with dignity after receiving a red card, limping off with another knee injury, slumping about after being dropped from the Italian squad, that sort of thing.
He was minding his own business when he overheard one of his team mates seemingly telling a colleague that one of the young players was going to "throw a knife at Mario".
My client perfectly understandably wanted to protect himself and got a dart from the games room and threw it at the youngster.
It was only later that he realised that he'd misunderstood what was happening. The youth player had only been looking daggers at Mario, but it had been lost in translation.#
Fortunately, my client's aim is a s bad as his hairstyle and the dart missed by miles anyway.
So no harm done".
