Arsenal blew their chance to put real pressure on Manchester Utd at the top of the Premier League when they failed to beat Sunderland at the Emirates.
On a day when Gunners' manager Arsene Wenger said he was obsessing about beating Sunderland, his charges did everything but get the ball in the back of the net against Steve Bruce's Mackems.
Winning all their last 11 games would give Arsenal the title. But this two points dropped will have Sir Alex Ferguson grinning in Manchester before his side's clash with Liverpool on Sunday.
Gunners fan club chairman, Dave Highbury, said: "I don't farkin' believe it mate.
"We was all over them norvern monkeys but couldn't stick it away. Farkin' norveners - come down 'ere and shut up shop.
"Right, let's seem if them farkin' scouse bastards can turn over them farkin' Mancs tomorrow.
