A second set of scousers arrived in West London yesterday to spoil the party at rich kids Chelsea.
Everton (it's a part of Liverpool) dumped the holders out of the FA Cup just two week after their Merseyside rivals, Liverpool, wrecked the party to celebrate the arrival of Spanish striker Fernando Torres from the red half of Scouseland.
Chelsea had gone ahead in the game, but after extra time the sides were all square at 1-1 so it went to penalties and fans looked on in horror as Nicolas Anelka was too casual and had his spot-kick saved. It was up to that man Phil Neville to secure the tie - he didn't miss.
Two weeks ago, the sound of hilarity after a Chelsea defeat was deafening, but according to EIF News & Features Sports Editor, Thelonious Adidas, fewer people are laughing this week.
"It's getting a bit thin now - scousers coming to town and rubbing Roman Abramovich's nose it. Sure, it's a bit funny - ater all Chelsea were looking to win the Cup for a third year in succession - but it's not hilarious.
"We had a brief chuckle down the pub, but that was about it."
