Flamini Apologises

Following Tottenham Hotspurs' dramatic 1-0 away win in the Champions League against Milan in the San Siro, happy Harry Redknapp joined his old mates, Graeme Souness, and Jeff Stelling alongside his son Jamie in the Sky Sports studio.

He called Souness a "top man" - but we weren't quite sure what that was all about, so we'll overlook it in the edit.

Upon arrival, happy Harry (happier than usual, given the result) was shown a replay of Flamini's horror tackle on Corluka. After studying the content, and having considered his response, Redknapp opined that it was "an absolute disgrace."

As are most two footed with studs up, flying, potentially leg breaking tackles.

The non-sexist panel appeared to be in agreement that the horror tackle warranted an instant red card, even an incensed Man United fan watching the game on the Skoob Sports News sofa.

However, twas to be but a measly yellow, despite contravening every law in the book.

Sky Sports later reported that Milan defender Flamini went to the Tottenham dressing room to make a personal apology to Corluka, who had to be carried off on a stretcher following the incident with what appeared to be an ankle injury.

Reports suggest that Corluka accepted the apology gracefully.

Had it been this Skoob Sports News reporter in a similar situation, he would have kicked Flamini right in the bollocks, before knee dropping him. And rupturing his spleen.

More as we get it.
