The football world was thrown into turmoil following 25 year old Sian Massey's appearance on the touchline at the Wolves versus Liverpool game.
She was seen running frantically up and down the line waving a yellow and red checked with matching short and shirt set throughout the ninety minute football match.
A close friend said 'she was desperately trying to get the players attention as they're shirts weren't properly ironed.'
A spokesman said 'she had been ironing the kits before the game but had only done the shorts. When she realised it was too late as the players had already entered the field of play. She showed a good grasp of the rules of the game by not just running onto the pitch and ironing their shirts.'
Sky Sports pundits Richard Keys and Andy Gray further stoked the row with off screen comments that not only did she not know the offside rule, she also had no grasp of Einsteins General Theory of Relativity.
