Liverpool defender Paul Konchesky's mum has sparked fury amongst London based Irish not quite scouse Liverpool fans by referring to them as "scouse scum" and saying that the "cockney ****" would have been better off staying at Fulham.
Konchesky has failed to shine since his Anfield arrival, and has been roundly criticised for a series of apparently incompetent performances by the home fans.
It is thought that Mrs Konchesky reacted angrily to fan criticism of her son's embarrassing displays on social networking site, Scousebook.
Her online comments infuriated diehard Liverpool supporter, Jethro Tull, of Taunton, Somerset, prompting him to start up his own Scousebook campaign, damning Konchesky and his mother to an eternity of hell fire and damnation.
"How dare she refer to us Somerset reds as scousers?" Tull told Skoob Sports News. "We baint scousers, roight? Her's a roight cheeky mare loikenin' us to that scouse mob. We's proooper Liverpool fans, we is. It cossssts us a baaaaastard fortune in hub caps and car stereos waaatchin' aaarrr beloved Liverpool. Scousers moi aaaaaarsse. Wetch!"
More as we get it.
