Delhi, India. The nineteenth Commonwealth Games have been further dragged down as a sporting contest when former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown appeared controversially in a number of contests here in Delhi.
The first event Brown was spotted in was netball when he donned the Jamaican outfit and sprayed dark tan all over his usually snow white complexion. He injected himself into the contest between Jamaica and Australia in the 45th minute, startling players and fans alike. Play was halted after 3 minutes in which time Brown scored a net and rejoiced accordingly.
His next appearance was at the Gymnastics Stadium as he appeared in the Scottish colours and performed a ridiculous routine on the uneven bars as incredulous judges looked on in horror.
Undaunted, Brown next appeared in the Badminton hall as he took on the number one seed from Malaysia. The former Prime Minister was on court for about fifteen minutes before organisers cottoned on to the fraud being commited in front of their eyes. Gordon Brown was then ushered out of the hall and sent down town to the Police holding cells.
It is expected the the former Prime Minister will be given a stern lecture on how ex PMs should behave and then allowed to leave on provision he doesn't perform any more belly flops at international gymnastic events.
