Well, Outside Magazine has gone and ruined it for the rest of the magazine-reading world. Wait, maybe they've done us a favor. By taking it upon themselves to add a message to the plain blue t-shirt Lance Armstrong wore for the cover, Outside Magazine has forced Armstrong to make the decision to never again pose with a shirt on.
The message that was added went something like this "38 - BFD" which the magazine claims stands for Armstrong's age and "Big Fat Deal" but we know what the "F" really stands for.
At any rate, this editing job was done without Armstrong's knowledge or approval, and while he does have a pretty good sense of humor, this didn't particularly strike him as funny seeing as it took a poke at his age and brings up the question of whether or not Armstrong is strong enough to endure another Tour de France.
Here's a tip for you Lance, you can take your shirt off for us any day of the week. What we'd really like to know is, are there any magazine cover shoots out there of you wearing a plain pair of blue bike shorts?
