NYC (Agencies): Even a win at the Bethpage Black Golf Course here in New York City didn't temper Tiger Woods' temper at what he described as 'defamation' by the long-deceased English poet William Blake.
"It's bad enough that the media's been playing up my personal affairs," he told reporters. "But now they're getting my name into school books! Yesterday my niece Naomi, in fourth grade, shows me this poem her English teacher read out; a poem by some sonofabitch Englishman named William Blake. And the poem's all about me! Listen to this."
He produced a school notebook from his pocket and read:
Tiger Tiger foozlin' right
Into the magic links of the night
What Immoral Hand dare frame
Thy pitted balls rudimentary?
"I'm gonna sue that @#**@%$+@ Blake!" Tiger roared even as as he neatly stroked his balls into seven consecutive holes.
