More shocking controversy today as yet another sports presenter has been benched for making unflattering remarks about female colleague's on air attire.
The suspension of popular, but balding, ESPN 'Pardon the Interruption' host Tony Kornheiser for labeling a fellow broadcaster's outfit "horrifying" has brought to the fore once again, the question of whether a presenter has the right to speak the truth, or gloss over the obvious.
Kornheiser was moved to speak after a 47 year old colleague, noted for her age inappropriate outfits, appeared on camera in knee high red go-go boots, a tank top, and a plaid mini skirt usually worn to advantage in teen age fantasy porn flicks.
A stunned Kornheiser merely stated the obvious; the tank top looked like a 'sausage casing', and he likened the skirt to a fantasy from "Catcher in the Rye."
For stating the obvious, Kornheiser was suspended for two weeks and later apologized saying only "I profoundly regret my Sausage remark as it has brought disfavour and disdain to one of my proud sponsors, who happens to make better looking Bratwurst."
Apparently Skoob 1999, the wildly popular "Late Night Soccer" host in the US, noted for his politically incorrect comments, behind the scenes tales of Footie goings on, and often involved in the middle of Soccer Shagging Scandals, hadn't heard of his fellow broadcaster being handed a 'red card.'
Asked by a reporter from another network, owned and controlled by the Government, how he liked working with a glamourous co-anchor famous for being shown NAKED on U-Tube by clips taken by a stalker, Skoob walked right into it.
"Well mate, I've seen the videos, several times in case I missed anything, you know. Actually, she makes Cheryl Cole look like Pam Anderson in the TIT department, if you get my drift! She's got pretty slim hips, and a really flat type ARSE, but does have comely legs. To tell the truth, I wouldn't pay twopence to see her NAKED at the Oasis Bar and Grill...she looks much better with clothes on!"
A stunned Skoob was shocked when he was docked a day's pay and ordered to take a 'sickie' for his remarks which were deemed politically incorrect by his station manager after being issued a 'caution' by the EU Speech Czar.
"I didint mean nothin' by it, "said Skoob an ardent defender of women, " I happen to like flat chested women, and besides, she's got the cutest nipples!"
