image for Football club's pet food sponsorship deal disallowed as 'false advertising'
Winalot - it's the D's Bs. Grimsby? Well, they're similar, but different.

It was announced today that Grimsby Town the struggling league two football club have secured a deal with Youngs Sea Foods to continue with sponsorship next season, even if they are relegated.

It was rumoured that a national pet food manufacturer had declared an interest in sponsoring the club. but it was decided that to have Winalot emblazend on the front of their shirts was deemed to be a breach of the advertising code.

Club Chairman John Fenty thanked the pet food company for their interest but Youngs Sea Foods had sponsored the club for a few years now and he was happy at the outcome.

Make Barwood's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
