image for Chelsea to drop Terry to the bench.
John Terry WAS Chelsea's captain.

A spokesman for Chelsea F.C have claimed. "We're demoting John Terry," a reporter for The Sun had asked what they meant by 'demoting' and the spokesman had replied. "We're benching him until we get Roman to give us the 40m we need to sign Steven Taylor [Newcastle,].
"Its outrageous, why would they want to replace me with a non England regular?" John Terry had blasted but manager Carlo Ancelotti had refused to comment.
"John Terry is still a Chelsea player and he is still our captain," but the spokesman had said otherwise.
"I think Steven Taylor would make a good replacement, if there was a penalty and our goalie was sent off, I would choose Taylor as our goalie instead of John," Frank Lampard had commented.
"We have no plans too sell him, but interest has come from Leeds United and Doncaster, where still not sure, but it can go either way," Carlo said.
But chairman Roman had bashed the comments claiming. "Where not selling John Terry or buying Steven Taylor, the expenses will be too great. Our home games no longer sell and we hardly fit half the pitch," he claimed.
