image for Steven Gerrard talks frankly about his Magic Roundabout addiction
Secrets of the Magic Roundabout psychology audio training tape!

Dougal the dog, Dillon the rabbit, Brian the snail, Ermitrude the cow were sitting on the mantel piece in Steven Gerrards luxury home in Merseyside, as I interviewed him about his Magic Roundabout addiction.

Every top player has a way of handling the stress and emotion that goes with being an international star. In this soul searching interview, Steven Gerrard speaks out about his 'mind breaking techniques', which have earned him international acclaim on the football pitch.

In a previous exclusive interview with Rafa Benitez which has now been published world wide, Steven Gerrard's frank Magic Roundabout addiction had been revealed. Rafa in his own words, "It was getting out of control, Stevie had the Magic Roundabout psychology audio training tape, as a ring tone on ALL his mobile phones, the door at his mansion, when you entered any room in his house, it automatically came on... All his cars were alarmed with the Magic Roundabout psychology audio training tape. Wherever we went as a squad, there was the Magic Roundabout psychology audio training tape, in the gym, on the training pitch, the hydro pool, the canteen, on the coach and on the plane, when the squad travelled away..."

It hadn't gone un-noticed by me of the Magic Roundabout theme tune being played, as I passed through the security gates at the Gerrard Mansion and entered through the solid oak front door. Alex Curran, Stevie's beautiful wife poured me a second cup of tea, as Stevie discussed his early career, the matches he had played for Liverpool and for England.

I then asked Stevie how the fracas at the night club had affected him and his family. Stevie replied "Badly, s**t happens!!"

"So how did your request to play the Magic Roundabout psychology audio training tape turn into a confrontation?" I asked casually.

"As Gaffa Rafa told you in your interview with him, I just over did the the Magic Roundabout psychology audio training tape…." After a pause in which Stevie looked out of the window, with a full sized Magic Roundabout whirling around in the garden, Stevie continued, "Gaffa Rafa warned me not overdo the Magic Roundabout psychology audio training tape, so what do I do, ask the disc jockey to play it at the night Club… They laughed and taunted me at the night club, "What you want the "The Magic Roundabout" theme tune played, Ha, Ha, Ha?"

"But this didn't come out in Court?" I interjected.

"No!" replied Stevie and continued, "…with the trial set for Liverpool it was decided, not to reveal this to the jury, as there would have to be an equal number of Everton and Liverpool supporters on the jury. I didn't want the Liverpool supporters on the jury to be laughed at by relatives of Wayne Rooney who support Everton!!" The other thing was I didn't want to have to reveal in open court how the Magic Roundabout psychology audio training tape works either, as I would have been crossed examined on how it went wrong that night and that is personal to me at this stage!!"

So I got to the point "How does the Magic Roundabout psychology audio training tape really work for you then?"

Stevie switched on the TV and charged up the video/DVD player and we watched an episode together.

Thanking Stevie Gerrard for giving me an insight the Magic Roundabout psychology audio training tape, I left with Alex Curran, Stevie's wife giving me a signed copy of the Magic Roundabout psychology audio training tape. Alex Curran knowingly smiled as I left...
