Green Bay, Wisconsin - Barrack Obama will not be playing for the Green Bay Packers this year after all. The two parties couldn't come to terms on a contract during a last minute negotiating session here and Mr. Obama flew back to Washington on Air Force One without comment to the press.
His departure from Green Bay means that the team will have to look elsewhere for the talent it has been sorely missing for the past two years, ever since sports legend Brett Favre re-retired again.
"Our dreams were dashed today." said general manager Ted Thompson, "We had high hopes for Barrack. He certainly look good during scrimmage, but we just couldn't agree on a salary."
The news shocked Wisconsin sports fans, especially since Mr. Obama has made it well known that he favors salary caps himself."First Favre, and now this!", exclaimed Packers fan Marge Fidgit,"Oh, well! It looks like it'll be another cold, dark, winless winter on the frozen tundra."
