Gay Pride Cottagong Garden complete with a few shrinking violets and the odd pansy

London - (Gertrude Jekyll & Hyde Mess): Man City Football Club owner Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan's Gay Pride Cottaging Garden is a hot favorite to take Gold at Chelsea Flower Show next week.

The billionaire brother of Abu Dhabi ruler Shaikh Khalifah has pumped a reported £1 million into the Chelsea exhibit loosely modelled on the City of Manchester Stadium.

Planting includes plenty of cottaging garden stalwarts such as shrinking violets, pansies, stocks and sweet williams.

In 2006 the Mancunian club scored something of an own goal when it became the first Premier League team to be officially recognised as a gay-friendly club by UK campaign group Stonewall.

Shaikh Mansoor is a happily married family man.
