image for Ferguson Misses The Target
Signaling Like This May Offend Sam Allardyce. So Do It.

Sir Alex Ferguson condemned Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez as arrogant and disrespectful earlier today. Benitez described Everton as a 'small club'. Ferguson said "No Liverpool manager has ever behaved in such a manner."

Indeed. Bill Shankly never said "There are two teams in Liverpool. Liverpool and Liverpool reserves." Once again Sir Alex appears to be showing signs that the run in to the end of the season is affecting his judgement.

He also accused Benitez of being disrespectful to Sam Allardyce. Sam Allardyce!!! Respect where it is due. And it's not due at Ewood Park.

Maybe Sir Alex is rather more worried than he was previously letting on. Maybe he knows that he will look a bit of a twat if they blow it now.

Arrogant and disrespectful? Whoever wins at the end will have earnt the right to be both. The trick is to avoid doing either. Sir Alex please note.

Make Earl Grey's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
