image for Shamed Rangers stars speak out

Former Ibrox idols Barry Ferguson and Allan Mcgregor today attempted to salvage their careers by holding a press conference that was claimed would set the record straight about their recent actions.

The disgraced pair, after finishing their milk and biscuits, faced the media with a new spin on the V-sign antics..."we weren't giving v-signs at all," explained Ferguson. "We were making a big W to say hello to the gaffer Walter Smith and also to say Win to the boys on the pitch"

This comment was met with laughter and derision from the assembled press which led to Mcgregor, who had been quiet till then, thumping the table and repeatedly shouting "its true, it is," until his eyes filled with tears and he raised his hand and asked Martin Brain if he could go to the bathroom.

Ferguson however held his ground as he stared the members of the press down and calmly stated: "Ma brother and ma uncles are gonnae come doon here an batter all youz, and ma mates are all the polis and they're gonnae get ye"..after which he rose, pulled down his tracksuit bottoms and mooned the assembled media, leaving his reputation as shattered as his ankle.
