NEW YORK CITY, New York - New York Yankees superstar and self-professed ex-steroid user, Alex Rodriguez has asked that he be traded.

A-Rod told a reporter for ESPN that he is having an extremely hard time trying to concentrate on baseball with the thousands of New York fans that are constantly hanging around.

He has requested to be traded to the Washington Nationals who last season had the worst record in all of Major League Baseball at 59-102.

Alex said that he wants to go to Washington because one, they don't get as many fans as the Yankees get. And two, the National's fans are laid back and they do not tend to scream derogatory remarks and curse like sailors like the fans in New York City.

A reliable source reports that Yankee owner George Steinbrenner said that in order for A-Rod to go to the Washington Nationals, the Nats would have to send their entire team plus 20 hot vendors to New York.

A-Rod said that if that is the case then he may just retire and go work as a president of some bank.

In related news. Unconfirmed reports out of England say that A-Rod's girlfriend, Madonna has offered to make him chief of her concert security detail.

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
