image for Everton FC new striker
Mullan in warm-up

Everton Football Club tonight fielded one of the supporters following the team in the ground. This comes as a result of the injury crisis currently gripping the club's strikers.

With Yakubu, Saha and Vaughan all on the sidelines, Manager David Moyes decided that enough was enough, and lifted 17 year old, Mike Mullan from the stands.

The rest of the supporters were far from happy at an amateur being fielded against "Big Four" team Arsenal, but then they remembered that Arsenal's defence is manure.

Mike was unavailable for comment before the game as,, being from Liverpool, he was out stealing his new teammates' hubcaps.

Moyes did say however that he "is losing the head" at the current injury crisis and then claimed to be Willy Wonka offering the reporters in the press room chocolate. I had a Galaxy Caramel.

Make Pquinn441's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
