British no.1 tennis star, Andy Murray, is at the centre of a new controversy this morning, after he won his first round match against Andrei Pavel by a knock-out at the Australian Open tennis.
Murray faced the Romanian at the Rod Laver Arena this morning, but had already caused quite a stir when members of the public mistook him for the Incredible Hulk, so big are his muscles these days.
The Hulk stormed the first set 6-2, and then had the Romanian on the canvas with a vast array of powerful shots in the second. Pavel buckled under the onslaught and, with the crowd baying for him to be put out of his misery, the towel came in at the start of the fifth round.
Tennis fans have noticed a difference in Murray's stature over the last few months, and the player, himself, readily admits to having spent many hours in the gym.
One Murray fan, Betty Crotch, 86, told us:
"He seems to get bigger, and play better, the angrier he gets!"
