A politician who paired the wrong teams in last season's CIS Cup semi-final draw will be given a second chance on 12 November.
The British Labour Party Politician and his dog 'Ruby' will team up again to make this season's draw.
Blunkett announced the wrong ties by mistake last year after 'Ruby' somehow managed to pull a ball from the pot remarkably using 3 paws in total after 5 minutes of efforts.
The teams left in this season's Co-operative Insurance Cup are Celtic, Dundee United, Falkirk and Rangers.
In the original draw last season, Rangers were announced as playing against Aberdeen, while Hearts were due to face Dundee United, after Blunkett and his dog got the numbers mixed up when calling out the ties.
It took several hours for organisers of the Scottish Football League to announce the mistake and the draw as it should have been - Rangers against Hearts and Aberdeen against United.
Expert BBC pundit & soccer legend Garth Crooks was approached to comment on the mishap and blasted the Scottish F.A's decision to invite "Blunkett and his bitch" to pick the balls out the pot and branded it as "a recipe for disaster". "I am inclined to say on record that this is all just been an incredibly badly planned publicity stunt", he added.
It has been understood that the Scottish F.A are set to be pairing up 'Emu & Stephen Hawkings' for next seasons First Round draw.
