Hull City moved level on points with Premier League leaders Chelsea and Liverpool after a thrilling win over Black Country idiots West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.
Albion played out of their skins in the first half, and pinned Hull back, but after the break, the Tigers relaxed a little, and took the lead through defender Kamil Zayatte who volleyed home.
Next it was Brazilian Geovanni with a superb diving header, before Marlon King wrapped up all three points with a low shot.
It was Hull's fourth successive win, and it puts them on 20 points in third place on goal difference behind Chelsea and Liverpool who play each other tomorrow.
A sterner test awaits Hull on Wednesday when they entertain Chelsea at the KC Stadium, and then next Saturday when they travel to Old Trafford to play champions Manchester United.
It was a great day for the Hull fans, who outsang their yokel Black Country opponents throughout the game, but there were some problems after the match when several Yorkshiremen had to be given First Aid. They were said by West Midlands St John's Ambulance Service to be suffering from altitude sickness, probably attributable to their lofty position in the table.
