Miami, Florida (IPP) - Last Saturday's Florida Gator's win over the UM Hurricanes has been reversed by NCAA officials. NCAA president, Jimmy Johnson, told reporters that there were too many bad calls against Miami.
Johnson also told reporters that the bad calls were influenced by Las Vegas betting schemes.
The news caused a riot in Gainesville, Florida. College students burned bon fires in the middle of the street. Cars bearing Hurricane and UM logos were turned upside down and UM students were rounded up and carried to a nearby farm where they were forced to eat brownies laced with Gainesville Green.
One police spokesman told reporters that they had to call in police units from neighboring jurisdictions to help restore order.
In Miami the reaction was immediate and folks there were in a euphoric mood. A party atmosphere quickly took hold when the decision was announced.
