As the Beijing smog continues to plague the Chinese Olympics, Eastern ingenuity has joined forces with Western capitalism to discover a solution. The Coca Cola and Ich Chee Nee Electronics companies have created a new corporation called Smogalympics, Inc.
This company will saw off chunks of smog from the Beijing atmosphere, mold them into one-cubic-foot blocks and sell then as Olympic souvenirs. On each mottled, grey-brown block will be engraved the Olympic rings and personally signed by a gold medal winner of one of the sporting events.
Officials at Smogalympics estimate that more than five billion blocks will be sold, each one costing twenty Euros. However, the CEO cautioned that the owners of these blocks should keep them outside in order to reduce the risk of cancer.
