image for Hull City Line Up Spurs Defender Rocha
A bit of style at the KC!

Hull City have lined up Tottenham Hotspur's Portuguese defender Ricardo Rocha, unaware that he is not the brother of fashion designer John Rocha, the man responsible for the Rocha John Rocha clothing brand.

Rocha (the designer), 54, is of Chinese and Portuguese descent, but, as far as he knows, has no brothers.

Rocha (the footballer), 29, was out of favour at Spurs last season, and travelled to the Tigers' training ground for talks with manager Phil Brown, who, himself, cuts a bit of a dash in his expensive shirts and suits.

Brown was pleased with events as he told reporters:

"We'd love to have him here at the KC. Being from such a renowned label, he'd be bound to bring an element of style and flair to the club. A bit of flamboyance and pizazz that's been sadly lacking since Billy Whitehurst hung up his boots."

Make Monkey Woods's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
