The once famed Brazilian football drinking legend has confirmed in the press that he wishes to pursue his new career move to Manchester City.
Ronaldinho's agent claims that he was upset with Barcelona who won't let him travel to the Beijing Olympics.
"Ronnie is a good time guy" said his brother and agent. All he wanted was a good night out and maybe to take in a Ping Pong show at some of the late night establishments in the Chinese capital.
It has also come to light that Ronaldinho recently found out that the nightlife in Milan is not very good either.
With anger in his voice Ronnies brother shouted saying "it's ridiculous that he is being deprived of a good time and therefore there is only one alternative and that is to go to Machester City".
There remains only a few more questions that Ronaldinho will need to have answered such as:
1) How much is the beer in Manchester?
2) Does Manchester have any strip bars?
3) Can I claim expenses after 12 Midnight?
4) What time do the clubs shut at?
Mark Hughes whilst shrugging his shoulders commented on the state of play and said as long as we don't have to drag him off one of our central midfielders during a training session I don't care how much alcohol he consumes.
Gary Cook has hailed Ronnies decision claiming Manchester has one of the best nightlife attractions in the world and Ronnie would be sure to fit in there. "Remember the good times George Best had" he exclaimed with a nudge and a wink at Mark Hughes.
Thaksin Shinawatra said his dreams are about to come true as he handed a small brown envelope packed full of money to a court official in Thailand today.
It seems Manchester is about to become a Brazilian haven after all.....
