Martina Navratilova, the 9-time Wimbledon Women's Singles champion, and 7-time Ladies Doubles winner, and Billie Jean King are this year's runaway pre-tournament favourites to win the Lesbians Doubles competition.
Navratilova, 63, and King, who at 83, will be the oldest player ever to appear at SW19, are odd-on shots with the bookies to make it a record 30th straight Championship win in the Lesbians Doubles, although, this year there is, at least, some sort of challenge.
Hilda Dyke and Jenny Juggins, the second seeds from the US, have played well all season, and the Czech Republic's Jena Lickonova and Austrian Sonja Munsch, who are unseeded, will also give the favourites 'a run for their money'.
Britain, despite being littered with lesbians these days, has no serious contenders, with only Tessa 'Butch' Strokes and Gladys Fondler currently in the top 100 of women's tennis.
'Play' begins on No.1 court at 2.00pm, and, for those interested, can also be viewed on satellite pay-per-view porn channels with enhanced graphics, at midnight.
