Old Bailey, London - (Rotters): Seven women and five men got to post on Monday at the Old Bailey as the sworn-in jury members hearing the evidence that says former champion jockey Kiere Fallon is a race-fixing felon.
The trial judge Mr Justice Forbes has told them the evidence is "complex, damning potentially riddled with nasty hurdles."
The six times champion jockey is in the dock along with fellow jockeys Fergal Lynch and Darren Williams, accused of a corruption racket that has brought the sport into disrepute.
Also in the dock are Lynch's brother Shaun, former racing syndicate director Miles Rodgers and Philip Sherkle.
Internet spread-betting site Aintgottaprayer.com has posted odds of 11/10fav that Fallon will be found guilty on all counts of race-fixing.
Odds of 6/4 say he'll get two years' jail, a ten year riding ban and be warned off all UK racecourses for the rest of his life.
The trial begins next week.
