Play at wimbledon was stopped at the beginning of this month by a drug police squad, after they had recieved an anonymous tip-off that the ground keepers at the Wimbledon tennis grounds had been growing an illegal drug on centre court.
The drug squad found several clumps of fungi around the centre court at Wimbledon. An official report given to the Sport deparement here at TheSpoof.com by the police said, "As of yet there has been no conclusive proof that the fungi found at centre court at Wimbledon are 'magic-mushrooms'. Initial tests have shown that the fungus could be 'shrooms' however a full laboratory test is still to be completed."
The report goes on to say that if the fungus is to be found to be 'magic' then the ground keepers responsible will be charged with growing the fungus with the intent to then distribute it in an illegal form.
It has also been suggested that these grounds keepers have developed an illegal betting ring at Wimbledon, however we have no reports to confirm or deny this.
