Good luck & Godspeed (you fool)

US and A (Wired Staff Writer) - In a human-versus-machine contest not seen since Garry Kasparov's retirement from the chess world, TheSpoof.com contributor 'SpaceElevator' is attempting to out-spoof the Artificial Intelligence now operating the website.

"It's a Sisyphean task!" shrieked the editor from his remote hideout. "His only saving grace is that he has no idea what he's doing." This under-the-breath mutterance referred to the fact that Mr. SpaceElevator somehow fell into - and promptly out of - the Top Twenty during his first week in business.

"I intend to perfect the 100-word fake news story," remarked young SpaceElevator. "Just... need... more... time... Damn these machines are fast!"

Make SpaceElevator's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
