Britney Spears continued her "California Comeback Tour" with another lip sync live performance at the Los Angeles House of Blues last night. Making a surprise appearance with Spears and her four dancers was Oscar De la Hoya, current WBC boxing champ, and President of Golden Boy Promotions.
De la Hoya, who is scheduled to fight "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather Saturday night in one of the biggest boxing matches in history, skipped out of his training camp to appear with Spears for about 10 minutes to accompany the diva in her hit song, "Hit Me Baby One More time".
Spears, again, wore a pink bra, short skirt, brown wig, and fish net stockings. De la Hoya wore white slacks and black shirt unbuttoned to the waist. De la Hoya's voice, which was live, was simulutaneously linked with Spears lip sync presentation. Much to the amazement of those present, halfway through the set, De la Hoya's former trainer, Floyd Mayweather Sr. leaped onto the stage and began dancing suggestively with one of Spear's four dancers touted as the M+M's.
Later, Mayweather, who claimed to be serving as "Oscar's bodyguard" said he was caught up in the moment and that, "anyways, the bitch needed to dance with a real man."
De la Hoya's current trainer, Freddie Roach was aghast at the news of De la Hoya's appearance at the LA House of Blues and visibly paled when informed.
"Oscar is a married man and should not be cavorting the night before one of the biggest nights in his career with a woman like that," Roach lamented.
De la Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions announced after Spears' show that Britney and the M+M's would be making a surprise appearance accompanying De la Hoya into the ring prior to the fight Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Also, De la Hoya announced that Golden Boy Promotions would be promoting the balance of Spears' "California Comeback Tour" throughout the west over the next 30 days.
"Hey, with Freddie Roach on my payroll, and now Floyd Mayweather Sr. serving as my body guard, I need to be turning cash to cover costs," Oscar confided.
When told of Oscar's late night adventures with his father, "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather Jr. said, "Oscar know he gonna take a bad lickin' Saturday night, and so he pimpin' Briney Spears so he have a career after I end his boxin' days."
