NEW YORK CITY - Phil Jackson was in the Big Apple to make an appearance on his long time friend Larry King's talk show The Viagra View.
Phil was asked how he was enjoying retirement. He grinned and said that it was great not having to listen to Jack Nicholson second guess him and say stuff like, "Philster my man, why'd you take Kobe out, he's not even sweating" and "Hey Jackson get these cheerleaders out of the way, they're blocking my friggin view dude."
Larry asked Jackson if he would like to return to coach his old team the Lakers.
Phil shook his head and remarked, "Larry, to be honest I would rather sit on two adult porcupines than to get mixed up with that purple and gold bunch again."
"But Philly, you're engaged to Jeanie Buss one of the owners bro."
Phil giggled. "Yes that's true Larry. But when Jeanie and I are in bed we are talking about me and her and the farthest thing from our minds are the Los Angeles Lakers."
Jackson did say that he may be interested in taking a coaching job with an East Coast team.
Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant called up Phil and told him that if he signs on to coach another team other than the Lakers he'll definitely unfriend him on Facebook.
