image for NBA All-Star Game: The East Defeats The West In A Wild Shootout 163-155.
LeBron James of the East All-Stars said that six of the basketballs got completely worn out.

NEW ORLEANS - The new NBA Commissioner Adam Silver promised the fans an exciting NBA All-Star game and he delivered.

After all of the dust had settled the Eastern Conference All-Stars had defeated the Western Conference All-Stars by an astounding score of 163-155 for a record breaking combined total of 318 points.

Rufus Reno with Sports Balls Illustrated Daily noted that it was probably the first NBA basketball game in the history of the game where not one single fan yelled out the seemingly obligatory word "DEE-FENSE!"

Reno pointed out that during most regular NBA games the word "DEE-FENCE!" is shouted out an average of 117 times.

The game was played so effortlessly that they could have easily gotten by with using only one referee instead of three.

One courtside fan said that there were so many points being scored that at one point he swears he saw the basketball net start to smoke.

Reno remarked that four of the cheerleaders actually lost their voices midway into the fourth quarter from yelling after each basket.

He also said that the game was so exciting that hardly any of the fans got up to go the the bathroom.

SIDENOTE: The Sports Bet Gazette is reporting that President Obama bet on the Eastern Conference and he won $900.
