LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant, one of the NBA's best players, has sadly joined the ranks of sports athletes who eventually become injury prone.
Bryant speaking with Rufus Reno of Sports Balls Illustrated Daily said that he will do what he has to do to get back on the court as soon as possible.
The player who wears number 24 for the Lakers said that it looks like Old Man Injury is following him around.
Kobe's list of injuries include a torn Achilles heel, a fracture to his left lateral tibial plateau, nerve root irritation, a tennis elbow sprain, belly button bruising, a scratch on his tongue, and a dislocated tonsil to name just seven injuries.
When asked by Reno if maybe it's Mother Nature's way of telling him that he needs to hang up his athletic cup, Bryant became upset and said that Mother Nature can go to hell because he will never disappoint the loyal LaLaLand Laker fans by retiring.
He went on to say that he will return to play if he has to do it on crutches, with a walker, or riding piggyback on Pau Gasol's back.
SIDENOTE: Kobe Bryant who is worth an estimated $221 million remarked that he is not going to just push away the $48.5 million contract the Lakers just gave him to play for two more years.
