PORTLAND, Oregon - The Moda Center, home of the league leading Portland Trailblazers has been quite a lively place lately.
The Portland fans are some of the loudest in the entire NBA.
Many visiting sportswriters say that they have to use earplugs so that they can hear themselves think.
Coach Terry Stotts recently told Sports Balls Illustrated Daily's Rufus Reno that he really feels that his team can win it all.
And with their 23-5 record they are currently sitting at the very top of the entire 30 NBA teams.
He added that they would love to play the Miami Heat in the NBA finals to shut LeBron (James) Dwyane (Wade) and Chris (Bosh) up for good.
The Blazers coach said that he and one of his assistant coaches recently came up with an idea they call The Cancun Project.
Stotts said that The Cancun Project entails taking the entire team plus their wives or girlfriends on an all-expenses paid 5-day trip to Cancun, Mexico.
He pointed out that if the Portland Trailblazers become the 2013-2014 NBA champions then The Cancun Project will be implemented.
Coach Stotts said that he has gotten positive feedback from the entire team save one player.
He pointed out that team forward LaMarcus Aldridge told him that he would have to decline the generous offer because he is allergic to avocados, Tequila, maracas, Spanish music, and piñatas.
