A British Olympic hero has bravely admitted to being in a relationship with another man.
In what is described as 'coming out', Daley Thompson took to social media to announce that he is dating a man but that he also "still fancies girls".
Thompson has been applauded by Gay rights groups and fellow sporting figures such as Gary Lineker, who also came out once in his career, though that was only the 18 yard line, for two seconds.
Infact Thompson is the first athlete to declare such a thing so early in his career with legends like British decathlete Tom Daley also lauding him. Ironically with his YMCA-esque moustache and unfathomably tight shorts. And name, obviously.
Reaction was gauged from a previously huge homophobe, "Well i'm not gonna bother to comment on the fact that in his job he's a guy wearing only Speedos mingling with other guys wearing only Speedos, but regardless of that I don't particularly care and wish him all the luck in the world. He's a good guy."
Meanwhile Louie Spence has also announced that he may be homosexual.
Newsreader Huw Edwards has announced that he is definitely still heterosexual.
And Boy George has admitted that he is not a boy anymore, but that he doesn't plan on changing his moniker to Man George.
