CINCINNATI - The home town crowd was happy to see their Cincinnati Bengals wallop the Cleveland Browns 41-20 to win The Battle of Ohio.
The Bengals now find themselves in first place in the AFC North.
Bengals Coach Marvin Lewis told the sports media that he knew that his team would win because he had heard that the infamous Louisiana voodoo woman Madam Lottie Jo Lafayette had predicted a Bengals victory.
An inside source stated that Madam Lafayette had become very upset with a representative of the Cleveland Browns who refused to pay the fee she wanted to put a voodoo curse on the Bengals.
Madam Lafayette was so angry with the Cleveland Browns organization that she went again and placed a reverse magic curse on them at no charge to the Cincinnati Bengals organization.
Word coming out of the bayous of Louisiana, where Madam Lafayette lives, is that the notorious voodoo woman, who is known world wide, has never conducted a reverse voodoo curse like the one she put on the Browns.
SIDENOTE: The Sports Bet Gazette is reporting that a Cleveland Browns vice-president has sent Madam Lottie Jo Lafayette a letter of apology along with a check for $10,000.
