DETROIT - The Dallas Cowboys had their third straight victory pretty much wrapped up, but apparently Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford did not get the memo.
Trailing 24-30, Stafford marched his pride of Lions down to paydirt and scored tying the game and then going ahead on the point after kick.
So with 12 seconds left on the clock, grandma time ran out on the boys from Big D who lost 31-30.
But what happened on the Cowboys sidelines would have even made Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus showman P.T. Barnum grin with wonderment.
Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant erupted like Mount St. Helens and he verbally attacked the offensive coaches as well as quarterback Tony Romo and even the guy that makes the Gatorade.
Bryant who scored two touchdowns apparently was mad because number 9 (Romo) does not throw him the ball on every passing play.
Cowboys tight end Jason Witten, had enough of the diva antics of the prima donna and he got in his face.
Witten was getting ready to pick up Dez and body slam him but luckily for the spoiled brat Bryant, DeMarcus Ware stepped in and told Witten not to because he could get fined.
The TV cameras caught it all and it looked pretty ugly. It was bad enough the Cowboys had just been embarrassed on national television but the post game circus antics of Dez "Mr. Disruptive" Bryant put the icing on the losing cake.
Dallas owner Jerry Jones needs to make an example of this out-of-control hot head. He needs to remind him that he is the new kid on the block and all he needs to do is play and keep his big fat mouth shut.
Jones needs to make him aware that no one really gives a rat's ass what he thinks should have or should not have been done.
Jerry has to impress upon the loose cannon that there is no room for the likes of a spoiled brat on the Cowboys team.
Several sports writers have suggested that Jones fine Bryant up to $200,000 and give him a one game suspension so that he can appreciate the fact that he is lucky enough to be a starter on an NFL team.
