image for The NBA Is Considering Suspending Players For Flopping
Commissioner Stern says he has had it with players flopping on the court.

PHOENIX - NBA Commissioner David Stern was in Arizona visiting his old friend Governor Jan Brewer.

While in The Land of The Saguaro Cactus he was asked if he is planning on taking any action on the flopping situation that has really gotten out of hand.

Stern put down his Banana Daiquiri and replied that he has really studied the situation and he is most probably going to take some kind of action against the incessant flopping that is taking place.

He said that he has a list with two dozen names which includes the most notorious floppers in the league.

The commissioner who said that he knows he is widely hated by fans, owners, players, coaches, and even hot dog vendors remarked that he still gets paid tons and tons of money and he could not care less what anyone thinks about him.

He pointed out that as of now, he plans to levy a three game suspension on any player who he deems flopped on purpose. If the player flops again, he will have to sit out ten games plus he will be fined $35,000.

SIDENOTE: Stern said that this flopping business is going to stop if he has to end up suspending 100 or more players.
